Armed with a degree in Psychology and Family & Child Studies, as well as a graduate certificate in Corporate Communications & Public Relations, I spent nearly a decade as a communications professional in the non-profit world. But as my second maternity leave was coming to a close and my return to work date loomed, I just couldn’t bear the thought of going back to the hustle and grind of the 9-to-5 life!
I had a version of this business in my head for such a long time and knew that if I was ever going to make the move into entrepreneurship, it was time. That’s when I decided to take my skills and experience and offer them up to my fellow entrepreneurs and small business owners in need of some support, and Simplified Savvy was born!
That was October 2019 and I haven’t looked back since! My days are spent being creative, doing work I absolutely love with dream clients and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.
